This is just what my heart has been feeling all morning - as that stone was rolled away and the prison doors were opened!
Reminded me of many scriptures but the one that really tells it is the one at the Sanctuary entrance here at Shepherd's Walk:
Isaiah 61: 1-4 [Prophesy of Christ] The Year of the LORD's Favor 1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of His splendor.
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
Praise God for His marvelous plan for us!

A carpenter...Who would have believed that He is the Son of God? Little did these men know, He is the Carpenter Who built their houses in the first place. And now, came to save their houses which were in awful conditions...Happy Resurrection day and congratulations to Word girl! Yay! How special to witness your own granddaughter's baptism! God bless you sister Edie...Richly...
Oh, Risen Lord! We praise You! Thank You for Your faithfulness to the Father's plan. Thank You for being the Perfect Sacrfice. Thank You for shedding Your blood, so we wouldn't have to! Thank You for the peace we have in knowing YOU ARE GOD. And, Father, I thank You for grabbing hold of WordGirl's heart. I thank You for leading her to obedience and faith in Christ, and for her expression of that faith today in baptism. Please mark this day in her memory. Please hold her closely all the days of her life here on this earth - that she may know You are God, and may truly know peace. I'm asking it in the powerful Name of my RISEN Savior. JESUS! Amen and amen.
I know you must feel like your on cloud 9 with this being the celebration of our risen Savior and the baptism of your granddaughter. Blessings, my friend, AE
Learning to walk with God every moment of every day. Discovering who He created me to be. I love being creative and have done many types of creative projects. I was blessed to have designed blogs for Christian ministries and my latest creative endeavor is in jewelry design. You can see my work at LifeStone Jewelry http://www.etsy.com/shop/LifeStoneJewelry.
I have found that the more I relinquish my desires to God's will, the more He amazes me.
