Every Tuesday my friend ADHD-Jo hosts a special guest, blast from the past. I thought I would join her today and have a special guest too.
I was visiting Rebecca's blog and she mentioned this group in one of her posts. I loved this song but apparently not as much as Rebecca loved the group because she saved up her money and bought their album. I only bought the 45. If you don't know what a 45 is then you probably won't recognize the song either but I'm sure you will enjoy the choreography . ;)

Oh, wow...brings back memories! I am tapping my shoes!
Oh, I do remember, the 45, the bell bottoms and the hair!
love and hugs~Tammy
Okay, I don't remember this song. But the outfits & dancing were amazing. LOL!
Oh my goodness! I LOVE this, Edie! A couple of things I noticed:
1) I still dance this way.
2) When I attempt to straighten my hair (which requires about four products and two hours of time), it looks just like Tony DeFranco's.
This "blast from the past" brought a smile to my face! Thanks, Edie!
What a blast from the past...I love music...thank you!!
Blessings and prayers, andrea
The hair, the bell bottom pants and the 45's I remember but I don't remember this group. Maybe it's because I listened to mostly Country music wayyyyyyyyyyyyy back then.
Thanks for sharing,
From my heart to yours,
Alice
Not only did I listen to this song, but we recorded it onto my dad's reel-to-reel machine. (Back in the days when we were recording stuff off the radio to listen to!!)
I haven't seen this clip, and I'm not sure I remember watching the choreography on Bandstand.... I'm sure at one time that I thought the DeFrancos were the Jacksons! But, being a DJ changed all that....
Listen to this and then find the Osmonds "One Bad Apple." Now that's a combo!
(Thanks for the clue-in to the blog tomorrow; curiosity is raised!)
I don't know if this reminds me more of the Osmond Brothers or of the Brady Kids singing Time To Change. "Sha na na na na na na na na..."
The song is familiar but I don't remember the group.
LOVE those bell bottoms! (NOT) lol
I've never heard of em* EDIE!??
BUT... I LOOOOVED my bellbottoms too.
Bellbottoms, halter tops, and chico sticks. Life was so good!
