Impeach Judge Vaughn Walker

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmond Burke
The People of California VOTED in favor of Proposition 8 that clarifies that marriage is between one man and one woman. ONE man, Judge Vaughn Walker, overturned the PEOPLE's VOTE and made marriage between homosexuals legal.

His decision to even hear this case and to overturn the people's vote is pure dictatorship and unconstitutional. In addition, the subject matter is MORALLY WRONG. That alone should make Christians want to do something.

"...and do not give the devil a foothold." Ephesians 4:27 NIV
The New American Standard Bible translation reads:
"...and do not give the devil an opportunity." Ephesians 4:27 NASB

The American Family Association has an action alert asking the PEOPLE to take steps to impeach Judge Vaughn Walker. It begins by urging your State Representative to Impeach this judge.

After you click on the link, all you have to do is enter your zip code. The AFA website has made it as fast and easy as it could possibly be. Please take action. Please send this to everyone you know.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

GODS timing is always perfect. I just left my blog to come here and realized you had just posted. As for your post...thank you for standing up for what you/we believe! Our voices do and should count!

Now for my ?...I posted an update on Amden on Arise 2 Write. One of my followers asked if we could update his prayer button with a newer picture. The one I used today is not the best quality. It is from a cell phone and that is all I have as of now. When you get a chance can you take a look at it and see if there is any way you can use it to update his button? I know you are very busy and I understand if you don't have time or if it is too much work.
Blessings, hugs, and prayers,
andrea

Thanks for posting this. I've done it.
And I stomped my foot and said, "How dare he!" :) Not that that will do any good, but I feel better anyway.

Amen Edie!!!!!

Christians standing up is imperative but what I have found is that all too often they believe that we have no place in politics (yet we vote); and that laws etc don't mean anything to us when we are believers in Christ. However, those laws affect us and all through the Word we see people standing for biblical principles. We must do that. We must not stand by and just accept/tolerate what has become the norm.

I lift the banner high for Christ and stand for what the Word says and often that has caused many to pull away from me especially as a Christian who is conservative but I love and pray for all whether they agree with my biblical values or not but I won't compromise and I won't be silent.

Love you and your heart!

Hi sister Edie. I agree with sister Lisa. Sometimes, I think Christians try to tolerate instead of becoming active in voicing out what the Lord truly wants.

I just want to thank you for your precious visit and especially the much needed prayer. I'm still achy but not as bad. The only "up side" with this pain, it's driving me more to draw nearer to Him.

God bless you and I pray all is well with you. I miss your posts but you're not forgotten. I pray for the Lord to keep you and continue to guide you and provide for all of your needs. Love you in Christ.

I'm in Canada, but I'll be praying about this issue.

Also, Edie, just "knocking on your door" as you requested to let you know that a couple more posts in my current series on "marriage and singleness" are up!

God bless. <3

I'm singin' "He's Under My Feet" right now. We need to stand up and take action instead of bein' passive Christians!
