Project 365 - January 10, 2010

Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com

Week 2 of Project 365 hosted by Sara. Would love to see your pictures too.

Sunday - I have three pictures for today. There just wasn't enough room to get them all in the same picture. Creative moments here. The two little ones are decorating new church bags and Word Girl is creating a picture on canvas paper.

Monday -This is the look I get when I try to sit down on the couch while Tobi is there.

Tuesday - Re-insulated the water heater. Have I mentioned how much I dislike jobs like this?

Wednesday - Took Word Girl to the orthodontist.

Thursday - New faucet covers. I had never heard of these when I lived in California.

Friday - Picked up Word Girl from school for another orthodontist appt.

Thanks for visiting!

Project 365 - January 3, 2010

Project 365 button designed by http://richgift.blogspot.com

We're beginning a New Year with Project 365 hosted by Sara. Join us won't you?
I'm starting out by coming up three days short on pictures this week.

Monday - Word Girl spent most of the day sewing with the sewing machine she got for Christmas. This is a wall pocket that she made. Can you tell she's excited? I do believe she enjoys sewing. (This picture was actually taken on Tuesday but the sewing was done on Monday.)

Tuesday - In the picture it looks like it's raining but that is actually snow. You can see it accumulating a little on the grass. It was a bit slushy and didn't stick for long. Word Girl was only too happy to check my mail for me.

Wednesday - The girls spent the night and decorated little boxes. I wasn't feeling very well so the poor little things endured a grumpy grandma.

Thursday - My book arrived today. I'm joining Yolanda at Joy Comes In The Morning in a study on the Names of God. I've been wanting to do a study on the Names of God for a while now so I jumped on it when Yolanda mentioned that she was doing this. We are just about to start so there's still time to join us.

If you would like to join us in this study, the book is available at ChristianBooks.com. It was on sale when I posted this. My book arrived only 3 days after I ordered it even though I selected the least expensive shipping method. And if you use the search box below to order it, you will be helping me as well.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your week!

Project 365 - December 27, 2009

This is our last Project 365 of the year. Thank you so much Sara for hosting this all year. I'm looking forward to doing this in 2010! If you didn't participate in this in 2009, you are invited to join us in 2010. This is such a fun and meaningful meme.

Sara decided to have a contest for to design a new Project 365 button and said to post it with today's Project 365 so I did. That's it above. I used photos from a few of the bloggers who participated this year, mostly from Sara's posts since she is our wonderful hostess. If you see one of your pictures in there and you want me to remove it please let me know.

Monday - Word Girl and I did a little baking/candy making. She is preparing the cups that will hold the Peanut Butter Fudge. This is a "fight over" kinda food in our house. :D

Tuesday - I found this after Word Girl went home today. It says ...
"Need Info Fast?! Check the Information Station Now!!!!!"
(picture of box of peanut butter fudge and a brochure)
"Get a free box of PB Fudge with every purchase!"
Hahaha! I can't wait til she grows up and goes into marketing. I need a good marketing manager!

Wednesday - Remember *The Pinkster* that I made for Angela's son? Well his little sister wanted one so meet Rosey.

Thursday - Snow!

Friday - Celebrating the Birth

Saturday - I got "The Nativity Story" for Christmas. This is the first time I have seen it and I loved it! It was put together so well, realistic, and very biblical. I was so humbled by the faith and courage that Mary and Joseph had to have had in those circumstances, and so acutely aware of my own fears and lack of faith. That's just one of many observations I had from watching this.

Rich blessings to you for 2010!

Project 365

This is almost our last Project 365 of the year. I have really enjoyed doing this. Sara has decided to host this again in 2010! Yay! Thanks Sara! I hope the rest of you will join us.

Now on to the pictures...

Monday - A gift from a Good Friend. More on this tomorrow.

Tuesday - Christmas shopping. Have I mentioned how much Tobi LOVES Christmas?

Wednesday - Wrapped gifts.

Thursday - Computer Girl's Birthday! Happy Birthday my little Sweet Potato! That is a cake baked in an ice cream cone and decorated to look like an ice cream cone. Don't worry, I baked more than one. ;)

Friday - The girls spent the night. Word Girl, the animal lover, is watching Animal Planet. Miss Personality, is making Christmas gifts. Computer Girl, is playing with the remote control truck (?) I got her for her birthday. She said it was awesome. LOL!

Saturday - Tobi got to open a present from my friend Angela. She is a happy dog!

Project 365 - December 13, 2009

Project 365

I'm a bit late in posting this today but Project 365 is here again! Click on the button to join Sara and the other participants. Here we go!

Sunday - Prepared Christmas cards for mailing. I still don't have them all out yet but will by tomorrow.

Monday - Check out this cloud cover. It formed a huge circle around the area I live in.

Tuesday - Decorated the Christmas tree.

Wednesday - A little more decorating. This is a hurricane lamp. I tried to get a picture with the candle burning but it didn't turn out.

Thursday - I'm sharing three pictures because it's Miss Personality's birthday. Happy Birthday my little M&M!

Friday - I have a glass top coffee table. I seriously don't like glass top tables. I cleaned the top of the table but the light shining through the window revealed this from the underside. In the words of one of my favorite Christmas songs... "Do you see what I see?" I was actually glad to capture it in a picture.

Saturday - Need I say more?

Project 365 - December 6, 2009

Project 365

Project 365 again! The year is almost up. I have really enjoyed this meme even though I have strayed from it a little during the year. Sara has been a wonderful hostess and has kept up with this all year long. I really have to hand it to her. Thank you Sara!

I missed last week and have lost track of which pictures are for what days so just know that these were all within the last two weeks. Here we go!

I love to watch the little ones play like this. I can just see the imagination at work. You can't see it in the picture but she has about 10 little cars all lined up that she is driving back and forth across the couch.

I found this little pop-up Christmas card that Word Girl had made for a friend, then left it at my house. I love finding little tell-tale signs that they think of Christ even when I'm not telling them to. :)

It's so good to be clean again!

I finally got my inspection sticker! WooHoo!

Word Girl and I went to Hobby Lobby one day and she wanted this little nutcracker. It was unfinished wood so she used watered down paint and q-tips to stain it. Turned out pretty good.

My friend Angela thought she wasn't getting in the picture here. Her son just celebrated his 13th birthday and she told him she was getting him a pink brick. He said he was going to name it Pinky. Well I have lots of paver bricks cut in various sizes from laying a section of my patio so I created The Pinkster here.

Here he is preparing to be wrapped. Her son loved it and has him proudly displayed on a shelf in his room.

Happy Sunday!
