Project 365 and A Give-away

Project 365
Joining Sara and the rest of the bloggers for Project 365. This is such a fun meme. Thank you Sara for sticking out the year with this.

Monday- I actually noticed this on Sunday, 11/1/09, right after my "Service Engine Soon" light came on. If you are with law enforcement, please don't look at this picture.

Tuesday - Biscuits and gravy for dinner. This is bacon gravy not sausage gravy. This is the way my grandma made it and it is SO GOOD!

Wednesday - A little color in the neighborhood. Fall is trying it's best to get here.

Thursday - Tobi gets so excited when she gets to go for a ride.

Saturday - I opened the front door so Tobi could watch for evil cats and look what I found waiting for me! I was so excited when I saw the name of the sender on the package!

A very dear bloggy friend that I will meet someday, remembered that tomorrow (Sunday) is my someteenth birthday and she sent me a wonderful gift! Look at how cute she made that bow, and she claims not to be creative. Ha!

The back of the card refers to who it's from, not the contents.

Clearly this is a dearly beloved Friend! That's a picture of us. I'm the one in the plaid. Notice what a mess our hair is? I think we're bungee jumping.

And a special birthday wish on the back from MY ADHD-Jo. Thank you my Friend! You made my day!

Found a prominent place to display my new treasure.

Since it's my birthday I decided that it would be a good time for a give-away. Visit my graphics site Rich Gifts Graphics and Blog Design to see how you can win a blog makeover. Feel free to pick up a Scripture Tag while you're there.

Happy "someteenth" Birthday! (I love that, someteenth.) I see that Sue J is hosting a party for you at her blog again this year. I guess I am the only dud who didn't put it on my calendar. So I hope you have a GREAT birthday.

Funny (to me) side note, as soon as I saw the package I recognized the handwriting and knew who it was from. :-)

Happy birthday special friend!

Hey Edie. My sis (ADHD Jo) asked me to come by and let you know that her computer is seriously down. They think it is the mother board. So she will not be able to come by and visit but wanted to tell you HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

I'm going to do her Today is Tuesday for her on Tuesday, and maybe by the next week her PC will be back up.

Happy Someteenth Birthday! That was really nice of your bloggy buddie. There are such wonderful people here in Bloggyville!

My daddy used to make bacon gravy too. Honestly I prefer sausage gravy but I wouldn't turn any of the other down. lol Biscuits and gravy was always a favorite in our house. Can't buy breakfast sausage here so I've had to make my own. Not quite Bob Evans, but it's better than nothing. Can't imagine going 3 years without any sausage gravy and biscuits. hahaha

Have a great week!

Happy happy birthday to you! My daughter is doing the 365 thing too. It looks like a lot of fun. I've been so snowed under I've lost touch with all the blogs I usually read but Lord willing, I'm making a comeback! :) Yours was my first stop!
You are always such a blessing!

Awww, I hope you had a great birthday!!!

Ya know, Edie, if you're itchin' for fall, you could just come on up to Michigan. We're in the thick of it. But hurry - the snow can't be too far behind. *grin*

And, as soon as you mentioned bungee jumping, I knew the package had to be from ADHD-Jo. I remember that post of hers!

May the peace of Christ rest upon you today!
