Oh, yucky! I don't like the crud either. If you have a sore throat and haven't yet been to the doctor, make sure you think about going. I don't like going to the doctor for the seemingly small stuff. But, when the crud hangs on for too long and steals your voice, then you may have to consider going beyond over-the-counter.
I'm sorry you don't feel well. Gargling, more showers (if you are up to standing), and, like CK said, rest. He really does force us into that sometimes....
Oh Edie- I am so sorry you are still feeling under the weather. Sue J is right sometimes beyond OTC is needed. REST REST REST definately and lots of clear liquids. I will be keeping you in my prayers.
Maybe I'm not the one that got you sick after all! Mine got worse too, just when I thought it was getting better. Maybe YOU gave it to me! Obviously you didn't follow my directions on the last post when you said you were not feeling well, so I'll tell you again...
Aww Sistah!! (((( Hugz)))) Seems like a few of my fellow bloggers are not feeling well.. okay you just rest and get better and here a some nice hot lemon tea and some homemade soup for you. I'll come back to check on you, Praying for you and thinking of you!!!
Yuck. I was really hoping you would post a video for "I See What You're Saying" so I could *see* you! Will you do that sometime anyway? That would be fun!
Hope you feel better REALLY soon! I wish I could take a gallon of Mocha Almond Fudge to you. That would make your throat feel better for sure! :-)
Maybe this will help to cheer you up. Go to my blog for some exciting news. After you read it, if you want to, e-mail me your mailing address (hint hint).
Edie, I hope you are feeling better! I pray that you would be restored and refreshed..maybe you needed a little down time. Praying for you..hurry up and get well!
Ugh! Being sick stinks. But you haven't lost your sense of humor...I laughed for a full two minutes at your comment. A quiet gentle spirit that doesn't fit with the irritable mother??? I read that aloud and my 8-year-old looked at me sweetly and confirmed that I can, indeed, be irritable. LOL BTW, my 10-year-old still has the witch doctor link in his email and listens to it repeatedly every time he checks email. We're all learning it by heart.
Aaawww, Edie. So sorry you're sick. Hoping by now you're starting to feel better. I stopped by to tell you what a great job you did on Lea's blog...it looks GREAT! = )
Learning to walk with God every moment of every day. Discovering who He created me to be. I love being creative and have done many types of creative projects. I was blessed to have designed blogs for Christian ministries and my latest creative endeavor is in jewelry design. You can see my work at LifeStone Jewelry http://www.etsy.com/shop/LifeStoneJewelry.
I have found that the more I relinquish my desires to God's will, the more He amazes me.

A relapse. Perhaps one wasn't resting enough and trying to do too much after being sick.
Drink you tea w/honey, and REST. REST. No bloggy stuff.
Hoping you recover quickly.
Praying for you, Edie. Hope you get well soon. Take care and God bless!

Oh, Edie, I'm sorry. Just use this time to rest in Him, letting Him envelop you in His peace, cover you in His grace, and blanket you in His peace.

Hey Edie,
Lord please help her heal completely this time!
May she find strength in knowing we are praying for her and may she find true rest.
Not just sleep...REST!
May we rejoice with her soon as she gains strength and her voice back.
In Jesus name Amen
Love to you girlfriend!
