Project 365 - March 8, 2009

It's time for Project 365 again! Sara at Make Music From Your Heart to the Lord is our hostess. Click on the link to visit her and the others sharing their week in pictures.

Day 1 - Tobi steals my spot on the couch.

Day 2 (pic 1) - Tobi digs through her toy box to find a toy for us to play with.

Day 2 (pic 2) - A smile in my mailbox today. A beautiful hand-crafted wooden bookmark and a very kind note from Beverly at Dancing with the Daffodils. Just an act of kindness on her part. It really made my day. Thanks Beverly!

Day 3 - Sunset.

Day 4 - Made my grandma's goulash. Quick, easy, inexpensive, hearty, and delicious!

Day 5 (pic 1) - Tobi waiting for me to come out of the post office.

Day 5 (pic 2) - Another smile in the mail. An unexpected card from a wonderful friend in my SS class.

Day 6 - I was closing the back door after letting Tobi out and this is what jumped on my hand trying to escape death. Ugh! I don't know where he is now but I bet he wishes he was outside.

Day 7 (pic 1) - Another sunset.

Day 7 (pic 2) - The girls spent the night.

I love this project! Especially the randomness of it. I am thinking of joining in. Maybe I'll try changing the name to Project 31.

Day 3- Gorgeous!

Day 4- Making me hungry AGAIN!!

Day 5-1 I wish I had known you were going to the post office. You could have dropped off a package for me,

Day 6- I bet YOU wish HE was outside too!!

Day 7-2 Their love for you shows SO clearly in every picture you take of them! It is so obvious that you make them SO happy!

Now go to sleep. It's getting late and you need to "spring Forward" tonight!! I better go follow my own advise. Good Night.

Edie, I always enjoy when you share your life with us. The food looks delicious, the kids are beautiful, the gifts are sweet and the dog is precious. As for the lizard....

LOVE YOU!

Ok wait....that little critter is in your house somewhere? I don't do critters, so I'd have to move. ha!

Love the dog pics, and Tobi's toybox looks just like one we have here. :)

Edie,
Thank you for following Sitka's blog and most importantly for praying for him. He had surgery on friday and is doing well in doggie ICU. He gets to come home this afternoon (sunday). Again, thank you sooooooo much for your prayers and concern. Andrea

These photos are fabulous! Oh the geckos...ugh. My boys and I were just talking the other night about the fact that there are no lizards in the north (where our extended family lives)...hard to imagine.

Sunsets are one my favorites too. We have a perfect view every night looking through our west picture window when it's too cold to be outside. Beautiful pictures.

Isn't it amazing how much you can love a dog? I adore my "Buddy."

I'm sending you an email in about 10 minutes, after I get done commenting on blogs. :-)

You just brought back a memory of taking a bath at Grandma's. The 4 of us would spend the night/weekend every once in a while (Grandma lived around the block, so that was convenient.) Anyhow, I remember getting the choice of taking a bath in my aunt's tub (she lived there, too), and using her tooth powder to brush teeth or taking a shower in my grandparents' shower with the sliding glass door!!!

And, if you picked the tub, you usually had company....and cups!

Thanks for the memory jog! Tobi's had a fun week, yes?

Yes.. goulash recipe. Is it a secret? I'd add this recipe to my delicious & frugal list. Brings back wonderful memories.
Looks like Tobi is definitely part of the family. We've got some of those too!
Nice photos!
Have a great week!
