Siesta Ornament Exchange - Thank You!

The Siesta Fiesta Blog hosted a Christmas ornament exchange in November that I decided to participate in. I was paired up with Ivy from Creative Blessings. She is scheduled for surgery on December 23 so she could use your prayers.

Ivy was so kind and sent me these sweet ornaments. Thank you so much Ivy! I really appreciate your thoughtfulness. Have a Merry Christmas!

They really ARE beautiful.
I had very little computer time the last week or two. Obviously I picked the wrong time to not go blog hopping. I missed tons of give-aways.
OH well, there's always next year.

The ornaments are beautiful and what a special gift. Ivy will be in my prayers.
I use to make my own ornaments. One year I started a red and green plaid ornament tree with plaid bows, cross stitched ornaments, plaid fans with lace on them and I can't remember what the others were. Another year (after having surgery) I started making pink ornaments, pink bows and different shades of pink artificial flowers, balls and I can't remember what else. Before we sold our house and moved I used the pink tree in our living room and the plaid tree in our den.
Now I have gold and silver ornaments that my 87 year old cousin ordered from QVC. She used them 1 time (at my insistance) and then she gave them all to me. They are very intricate scenes from the Danberry Mint and one box is gold with crystals in them.
My youngest daughter will all of the gold ornaments when I'm gone. She and her son have been trimming my tree because of all the surgeries I've had and just cannot do it anymore. I've told this to someone else, hope it wasn't you. If it was please forgive me for repeating.
Blessings for all you do to help others,
AliceE.
