Thankful Thursday - December 18

Thankful Thursday at Truth 4 the Journey

I'm joining Sonya at Truth 4 the Journey again in listing 5 things that I am thankful for. Visit Sonya and join in todays Thankful Thrusday.

1. I am thankful for the love, encouragement, kindness and GIFTS from my bloggy friends. You don't know how much you all have done for me and mean to me.

2. I am thankful for my warm and comfortable bed. I often think about those who don't have a bed and might be out in the cold with barely anything to keep them warm and comfortable. This is truely something I cherish.

3. I am thankful for the ladies in my Sunday School class. They are such a dear group of godly women and I love when we get an opportunity to get together like recently at our Christmas party.

4. I am thankful that God has allowed me to stay home this last year. I have really needed this even more than I knew.

5. I am thankful for my dog Tobi. She is so good and so faithful to me. She loves me unconditionally, obeys me (almost) all the time, and has learned to trust me even when she doesn't understand (most of the time). She has been quite a work in progress since she was a puppy. Sounds a little like my progress with my Master.

There is nothing like the love of a dog...I love my "Buddy" too. And yes, reminds me of our Savior too.

Thankful for you - have a great day!

Good girl Tobi!! ~ Gotta love that UNIQUE-1DROOPY-EARRED DOG! There is nothing like the love and companionship of a GOOD DOG! THEY ARE WONDERFUL FRIENDS!!!
And, I so know what you mean about a comfortable warm bed. We don't even like to go on vacation because we MISS OUR OWN BED!-- I feel guilty at the moment thinking about the people who are out in the cold. Sometimes, I get cold INSIDE my warm house and complain*. Yet, I have clean, warm socks in the drawer, and warm sweaters and blankets. SHAMEFUL*
I'm SPOILED! *ROTTEN* !!!!!!!

These are such important things to be thankful for! We are blessed to have our homes and the fact that you've been home more this past year is wonderful!

Animals are a blessing - most of the time! LOL!

To add to my previous comment. I really did not even think about the Thankful Thursdays I've seen, it was just what was on my heart when I got up this morning.

I love your thankful list!! I have two kitties now--no dogs. But, I used to have dogs, and I must say that they are easier to train and listen much better than cats.

And I love get togethers with my spiritual family also!! We're have our CHRISTmas party this Monday evening, and we're all looking forward to it.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting me!!
