My friend's boy scout troop was right behind a group of singers/dancers in the local parade and heard this song for several hour straight! I bet those boys dreamed about hippos that night!

Edie,
The Lord put you on my heart this morning while I was on my treadmill-and it was such a wonderful thought He gave me about you, that I had to tell you. You know in Revelation where it talks about how He will give us stones with our new name writtten on them? Well, I was thinking about you, and if I could pick your name, it would be "Faithful."
I'm not trying to be God here at all. I was thinking about how hard it is for me to visit everyone on my blog list, and how some have not visited me, and maybe I have unintentionally hurt their feelings. Well, YOU always visit me, and leave wonderful comments and cheer me on. You are faithful. So that was the picture thought I had of you, and I prayed for you too. I love you.

I want to go "HOME" for Christmas ... if only in my dreams. :-)

PS-I am late in publicly thanking you for my blog awards, but you'll find an expression of my appreciation and gratitude at the end of my most recent post.

Hope you get everything you want for Christmas! :-)

We sang that song yesterday at the market. I sang it with a young lady working beside me. My son was so embarrased. :)

I have nothing on my want list for me. I would like to see people stop fighting and I would like to lose a few more pounds. That is all.

My Want" list is extensive... I love to dream.

My "need" list is very very short.
I am thankful for that!

Oh, dear. When she first started singing, I thought she was singing about whst kind of "bottom" she wanted for Christmas. And I thought, "Well, I'd like a smaller one!" LOL

This is funny. Just this past Friday night at our Sunday School Christmas party we were playing a game. One person had to draw a picture depicting a song and the rest of us had to guess. This song was the only one we couldn't get. Now I'll remember. Cute.
